The Intuitive Creative Process: How To Embark on the Entrepreneurial Journey with No Idea
Confession time: I often tossed around the idea of having my own business. But truth be told, I was clueless about the ‘How’ and ‘What’. So this lingering thought, nicely nestled in the back of my mind, remained at the early stage of a very vague dream, like a wishful whisper: ‘I wish I had my own business’.
So, I opted for the corporate world for 12 years because it felt safe. However, the dormant need for entrepreneurship began stirring in the 11th year. It was well-hidden and cleverly disguised, yet unmistakably present. I felt the urge to do something, although I couldn't quite pinpoint what. Despite this, I denied the need and stayed an extra year in the corporate world. Eventually, I summoned the courage to take a leap of faith and embarked on a break, initially planning for just three months. However, it unfolded in a completely unexpected manner.
When I took that leap, I had absolutely no clue about what I would do next. Initially thinking I'd return to the corporate world after a well-deserved three-month break, reality took a different turn.
What happened next? First and foremost, I found my 'WHY'—the reason behind 'WHY AM I HERE?' In other words, I discovered my life purpose. My purpose is to contribute to the evolution of humanity, elevating the consciousness of individuals to a higher level so they can become their best selves and fulfill their potential.
Once I had that clarity, the next question surfaced: 'And so what?' The next three months were a struggle as I sought to figure out my next steps, until I stumbled upon a tool that helped me clarify my initial path.
TOOL 1/ Kundalini Yoga Set: A Very Subtle Exercise
At the start of the week, I set my intention and asked myself: 'What should I do next?' I practiced this yoga set every morning for a week. Within that time frame, the idea emerged: I had to create a blog where I could share my personal experiences and insights on personal transformation for freedom and happiness. So, I started writing blog posts. Surprisingly, it felt incredibly fulfilling. Every time I completed a post, I felt warmth around my throat and an uplifting sense of satisfaction. I had created something—my first creations.
But then came the question: 'What about now?' What was next? Another three months of struggle ensued. I wanted to share more insights but also help people find their fulfilling life path. Unfortunately, I had no clear direction. Here's what I did next:
TOOL 2/ The Mental Video Technique, from the Silva Method.
I had initially drafted a homepage intending to offer my services, but I found myself at a loss regarding the nature of these services. In search of inspiration, I turned to the Mental Video Technique. I visualized my problem, which was: 'How can I fill the empty spaces on my homepage with content for my offerings?'. I did that technique on a very relaxing Marrakech trip, where my mind was actually far from my website, as I simply chose to enjoy my holidays. Four days later after I came back, I woke up one morning, and everything was crystal clear. I created a self-realization program that I now coach to help people find direction and clarity for a happier and more fulfilling life.
TOOL 3/ Meditation
While I meditate, I sometimes receive insightful words that seem to answer my questions. However these insights are often illogical, requiring sometimes months to decipher. Yet these words are still guiding on my entrepreneurial journey. My technique is simple: establish my burning question, take a deep breath, and feel the question settling in the back of my head. Meditate and observe any thoughts that arise. Let them go. Once an illogical thought surfaces, that's my answer.
The creative process unfolded unexpectedly. Not in long hours behind a laptop or strategic brainstorming sessions. It was a subtle dance—a big vision paired with a request for the next small step.
From a dreamy entrepreneur with no clear roadmap, I birthed a blog and crafted a self-realization coaching program.
Entrepreneurship, I realized, is a shifting landscape. Embrace the uncertainty, welcome each step with an open heart and mind.
