How I Used My Intuition at a Home Needs Shop

The fun part of embracing the unknown with an open mind is that it led me to play games.

I often wonder about the voice that occasionally pops into my head when I meditate—a fleeting presence, always catching me off guard with its unexpected messages. Is it a product of my imagination, or could it serve a more practical purpose?

One day, I found myself in need of napkins for an evening dinner I had planned at my place. So, I made my way to the nearest store that could possibly sell them—a shop specializing in home essentials. I adore these types of stores because they always seem to have whatever I'm missing. As I stepped into the home needs shop, a treasure trove of items awaited me, ranging from straws, stationary, birthday supplies, to pipes, kitchen utensils, and light bulbs. It had a bit of everything. Here's what happened next.

I strolled down the first aisle, explored the back, and stumbled upon birthday candles, lamp bulbs, and cleaning cloths. Moving on to the second aisle, I discovered an array of kitchenware. Then, I ventured into the third aisle, where I found kitchen towels and toilet papers. ‘Super, napkins must be there’ I thought. Alas! Nothing. I continued my journey down the third aisle only to encounter school supplies and stationary. Undeterred, I ventured further, discovering kid toys and electrical supplies on the opposite side. Seriously??? The layout of this shop defied all logic. I circled around for a second attempt. As I traversed the third aisle once more, I was bombarded by an overwhelming amount of information. My eyes were assaulted by a barrage of vibrant and diverse items on display. I finally decided to halt and said to myself, 'There's way too much information for my naked eyes. Finding anything in here is seriously impossible.'

That's when I had an idea—let's play the voice game. I asked myself to guide me towards the napkins, closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and focused on my heart. I barely had time to take a deep breath when the voice responded, 'Get out!' Perplexed, I opened my eyes. Once again, the voice had surprised me with its unconventional suggestions that I usually didn't like or agree with. But then, a thought struck me—maybe there were no napkins in the shop after all.

Feeling disappointed, as it was the first time I had failed to find what I needed in such a store, I abandoned my search for napkins and made my way to the exit.

Well guess what I found at the exit door… Literally at the exit door…. Napkins!

Was it intuition, clairaudience, perhaps? I'm not quite sure about the terminology, but it left me wondering—could I access knowledge in a different way? Is my mind more than just a memory card or an analytical tool? Could it be a radio set? Hahaha!
