The 35-Year Knot: A Quest for Purpose and Fulfillment

Have you ever heard that we change every 7 years? That is what Eastern philosophies teach us. An opportunity to be a new Self every 7 years. A new ‘Me’ at 7, 14, 21, 28, 35…. It got me thinking, it's better to choose the right 'Me' at these crucial junctures in life then… ;)

Today, I would to share my own experience of the 35 turning point. What happened?

It actually started not at 35 but 33.

My perspective on life began to shift. As someone who had always been career-driven, I found myself increasingly drawn towards happiness and well-being. A transformation had quietly begun, but I didn't take any substantial action until the happiness gauge hit a low point at 34. That year, 34, became the turning point, the year I said to myself, 'I am really NOT happy right NOW.' Like a pressure cooker reaching its limit, I knew I needed a complete course correction. It took a while to accept. Pride and a deep attachment to a 12-year career were hard to let go.

But during this time, fundamental questions surfaced: 'Why am I in this job? What's the meaning behind it? What is my life's purpose?' It was a moment of realization that the life I was leading wasn't the life I wanted to live indefinitely.

Having previously pursued fundamental needs like esteem and social status, proving myself in a world where I felt like an outsider, these checkboxes were ticked. Now, a new need was emerging, the need for self-actualization (as per Maslow's pyramid) - the search for what would make me feel truly fulfilled.

The question of my life's purpose started to haunt me deeply. Why am I here? Answering this question became an obsession.

I tried various coaching methods to uncover it, but it wasn't easy. I was never entirely satisfied with the answers, always sensing there was something more. Until, finally, I cracked the recipe to wholeheartedly embrace my life's purpose.

Fast forward 12 months, and I now know why I'm here: to guide people in raising their consciousness, so they can feel happier, freer, and fulfilled. Getting there while I had worked in fashion industry for 12 years was not a piece of cake. Believe me!

Since embarking on this new path, I've encountered a newfound energy, a truly empowering one. The energy of fulfillment.

You can feel it, too. Don't wait. You, too, can unearth your sense of fulfillment.

The time is now! The world needs you more than ever!
